Open communication is highly encouraged at Piiper Digital Solutions with an open-door policy that allows employees to freely bring their successes, comments, and concerns directly to either owner. This also transitions into the dialogue they have with their clients. For them, it’s about adding value to other business owners and their companies so they achieve their long-term goals. At Piiper you are encouraged to be open and honest because Doug and Danielle value the relationships they have with their clients over profits. They understand that clients who value the same things will naturally acquire their services because they lead their business based on personal and business values first.

How it all began…
Piiper Digital Solutions was founded in 2020 during what we all know to be a crazy time. Danielle worked through the pandemic during the start-up of the business, as an outside sales rep and an industrial vending specialist for a large corporate company. Doug was already enjoying some well-earned time off from working as things around the world changed dramatically. The dynamic father & daughter duo decided to go into business together and thus, Piiper Digital Solutions was born. Co-founded by both Doug and Danielle in Sherwood Park, AB. They have both lived in the Edmonton area their whole lives and look forward to travelling the world to explore new shores.
Things began for them with extensive search engine optimization and web design training while utilizing the skills they already had to create their company. They know that an individual’s knowledge and education are tools that no one can take away from them so they continue to build on their existing expertise. Danielle had previous experience in optimization in social media and has years of training in SEO combined with web design. She has also dabbled in live streaming as a gamer making her no stranger to the online world. Her strong artistic background is a benefit even having sold a number of paintings and other artworks. She now utilizes those skills to create powerful and beautiful websites for their clients. Doug primarily utilizes his skills to maintain and grow customer relations. He also brought his previous business and senior leadership experience to the table making them a duo of many talents.
Danielle took on the role of SEO specialist and senior web designer while utilizing her leadership skills to direct their team. Understanding the ever-changing algorithms of the online world has made her technical skills ones that you can trust. Her leadership skills were acquired over years of study on her own as well as with a diverse range of life coaches and leadership experts. She puts a high value on mental health and the success of her team members by treating them with kindness and respect. She has owned other businesses in the past and went to NAIT for accounting in the business program leaving her ready to put her best foot forward into Piiper Digital Solutions.
Doug’s career began as a machinist in the aviation, oil field and forestry industries in Alberta over the course of 15 years. With another 10+ years in the quality control industry writing and developing ISO quality management programs. Closing it out with the last 5 years as a general manager of an oilfield fabrication facility. He feels his time in team leadership and project management roles allowed him to add genuine value to those around him. Creating an environment for his employees to feel trusted in their roles and offering guidance when needed. He has also spent time ensuring the success of multiple organizations by working in senior management making his role at Piiper Digital Solutions an asset to the team. He has driven the company to stay on track financially and works closely with Piiper’s customers to help them stay on budget.
